Burwell-Morgan Mill, located in Millwood, VA, is a picturesque stone and clapboard building once the active commercial outlet for a wheat-growing neighborhood. Restored today with wooded gears from 1750, its wheel turns under the splash of waters from the mill race, and its stones grind meal and flour as they did 200 years ago. The Mill is an outstanding example of 18th century architecture and technology. Open May through October, Wed - Sun: 10am - 5pm.
